How to Draw Your Eyes to the Main Elements in a Photo within the Scrapbook Page Layout

Let's say that the main focus of the elements in a photo is at a certain location and you want to draw attention to it in the scrapbook page layout.

In this example, the main focus is toward the right-hand side of the photo. To draw ones attention, a bright yellow matte border was created around the photo with extra space above and toward the left of the photo.

Next, instead of centering the photo on the yellow matte border it was placed toward the right-hand side of the matte border. The matter border was also placed toward the lower right-hand side of the background paper. This will draw ones eye to this part of the layout first and mirrors the photo's main focal point.

Next, notice the embellishment 'Treasure' is not centered in the page layout but is positioned toward the right of the matte border just above the main focal point in the photo. Add stickers and other embellishments to complete the desired look. It's that simple!
